Who we are

Jamina’s creativity was shaped by early travels and the influence of her art photographer mother and freelance broadcast engineer father. Growing up in Canada, Holland and Belgium, she experienced diverse cultures that nurtured a lifelong appreciation for art, craft and architecture. These formative years created a rich tapestry of inspiration that continues to inform her work today.
After completing an Art and Design foundation at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Jamina graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Interior Design from the Glasgow School of Art. She moved to London and worked with award-winning studios including AvroKO, Russell Sage Studio and Alexander Waterworth Interiors, where specialising in hospitality sharpened her design and execution skills.
Balancing artistic sensitivity with technical precision,
Jamina focuses on refined detail to deliver cohesive, well- considered projects. Her extensive experience as a technical designer enables her to lead and execute all project phases independently.
Since relocating to Portugal over five years ago, she has specialised in residential design, delivering projects from full renovations to high-end FF&E commissions. Through bespoke furniture and tailored detailing, she creates distinctive spaces that reflect and celebrate her clients’ individual life journeys.
With a Portuguese and English heritage and having grown up between the UAE and Portugal, Sam brings a deeply international perspective to his work. After nearly a decade abroad, he recently returned to Portugal, having gained extensive experience as a Senior Architectural Designer at leading studios including The Soho House Group, Banda Property, Perkins & Will, and Thurston. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous award-winning, high-end projects across private members’ clubs, hospitality, and residential sectors on an international scale.

His return to Portugal was driven by a desire to give
back to his home country - introducing the sustainable, versatile, and holistic design methodologies he cultivated while working internationally.

Together with Jamina, his current projects embrace a more diverse, tactile, and fully integrated 360-degree design approach. Their work bridges international architectural and interior standards with local vernacular craftsmanship - addressing what he perceived as a gap within Portugal’s traditionally monolithic and standardised design culture. The result is work that brings colour, texture, and spirit to what was once a predominantly white canvas.
